CrorePage India was founded in the first quarter of the year 2006. Our mission is to introduce this new concept of Pixel advertising in India thereby providing affordable advertising solutions to businesses and other companies. We provide the most affordable form of advertising for Indian businesses and companies. Our structured and timely strategies ensure consistent exposure of our advertiser's products or businesses to a variety of audiences, who then become a potential customer for them. Today, CrorePage India is marching its way ahead, proving a new concept of advertising which provides optimum value as compared to any other form of advertising in this world! With our new performance based affiliate model of advertisements - a potential advertiser does not have to risk their investment while targeting customers from India.
CrorePage India is operated and marketed by a dynamic team of professionals in India. Our core full-time staff includes the Chairman, a Marketing Director, an Operations Manager and a Chief Account Manager. The rest of the staff includes a team of developers, sales and customer support. Except the CEO/Chairman, the entire staff work and manage the operations from Bombay - India. We have recently hired a professional in the United States to market CrorePage India to the NRI's staying there.

2. What is the basic idea?
The idea is simple: To provide 1,000,000 pixels as advertising space @ Rs. 10/- (US$ 0.25/-) per pixel (fixed or perfomance based plan). Hence the name: 'The CrorePage India'. The motivation for this venture comes from the million dollar website. The reason for doing this is to bring the new Pixel Advertising idea in India, for Indian businesses and enterprises. It is the cheapest form of advertising and has better turnouts compared to conventional forms of advertising; on any day!
So, everyone is welcome to buy pixels (advertising space) on this website, which are available in 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels). You will see the homepage is divided into 10,000 of these 100-pixel blocks (hence there are 1,000,000 pixels in total). The reason for selling them in 100-pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too small to display anything meaningful.
You can buy as many pixels as you like, as long as there are some available (see the live stats in the top right corner of the page). When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo/text of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website. However, no obscene or offensive images are allowed. Our team will review your image/ad/logo/text before we activate it on our page.
The pixels you buy will be displayed on the homepage permanently. The homepage will not change! We guarantee to keep it online for at least 5 years, and hopefully much longer. We want it to become a kind of internet time capsule. So, in the long run, the pixels will offer good, permanent value.

3. Who can buy these pixels?
Any one can buy these pixels. It can be a corporate company, a medium-scale firm, a small business company, individual businessmen, a shop owner or vendor to any individual or a freelancer. All you need is your website to which we can link the advertisement that is placed on our website.
Don't have a website? Not a problem. We will design a one-page website for you which would display the necessary business name and contact details and link that page to your advertisement on our website. 4. Are you genuine/ is this a joke?
We are completely genuine and although this website might look funny to some people in various ways, it is not a joke! We really are selling pixels for Rs. 10/- each, trying to bring this new trend of Pixel Advertising to India, which will benefit a wide range for people from individuals to small business persons and also bigger corporate giants. Pixel Advertising is one of the cheapest ways to reach out to maximum audience; and is being adopted by many advertisers across the world!
And for those who still in doubt, stay tuned to the radio ads and keep watching for the newspapers. We have several ad campaigns lined up and you can see it yourself.
Also, we are offering free ad placement in a 'free' section of our website; as an introductory offer! Here, you can place your ad in a maximum space of nine blocks (900 pixels area) for free - for a maximum of 30 days. Thus, you can see for yourself the increase in traffic to your website or subsequent increase in sales - whatever applies to you. Your Ad will be deleted after 30 days unless you wish to buy some pixels in our 'premium' area. Please note that this is a promotional offer and will not last forever! 5. How did you come up with this idea?
From the CEO: "I have always kept thinking of doing things in a creative way and brainstorming about it - with the whole and obvious objective of providing maximum value for a lesser cost. I think I'm a creative person, so wanted to do something that would be new and more importantly - would do something good to people in my country - India.
It was just a usual day, when I was returning from my university - finishing up the paperwork of my graduation. I was supposed to make some changes to my resume and upload it on the internet, as I was searching for a new job. As I was checking out some sample resumes in order to make mine, I read a sentence which said "million dollar resume". At that instant, my brain struck this: "million dollar website". So I researched and found a concept behind what I just imagined. The next moment, I had left my resume aside and was busy formulating a strategy to implement this idea. That's about it!"

6. Why should I buy pixels on this website?
Because you will have an image/text and a link to your site/business on our website - which could potentially be seen by millions of people in India as well as the rest of the world, in the coming years. Our website will be online for at least 5 years (through May 2011), that's guaranteed, but the idea is to keep it online forever! So you could actually have a permanent advertisement on our website for a price as cheap as Rs. 10/- per pixel. We have strategic marketing events lined up, which will ensure traffic to our website and the visitors continued interest to revisit our website.
Also, we will have frequent ad campaigns on radio, TV channels and various newspapers. So, the number of visitors to our website will keep increasing by the day. And all of them see your ads on our homepage!

7. Why can't I buy one single pixel?
We decided that although it would probably be a cool idea if individuals/businesses could buy a single pixel each, in practice, it wouldn't be so effective. The reason we believe this is because you can't display anything meaningful in one pixel - nor click on it easily - so visually, it would be pointless. Also with thousands of random tiny coloured dots all over the place, the homepage of our website would look ghastly.
We also thought that the site would appeal more to people with businesses/websites to advertise than it would to individuals, or to put it more accurately, businesses would pay more to have a meaningful graphic on the homepage. Hence the minimum purchase is Rs. 1000/- (US$ 25.00/-) for a 10x10 block.

8. How long will this website be online?
The website will be online for 5 years guaranteed (at least May 2011), however the aim is to keep the website online forever (or as long as internet exists on planet earth).
The idea is to create something of an internet time capsule: a homepage that is unique and permanent. Everything on the internet keeps changing so fast, it will be nice to have something that stays solid and permanent for many years. And YOU can be a part of that!

9. What if I don't have a website?
You can STILL buy our pixels. We will create a 1-page website for you with you business name, address and contact details. We will do that for you FREE of cost! YES! We will do a FREE web design (one-page). This is a unique service that we are offering, to ensure that you do not loose such a great benefit, just because you do not have a website.

10. What are the ad/image/logo specifications?
Firstly, the images must be in JPEG, PNG or GIF format. Secondly, the ad/images/logo must be of the same size (pixels) you have paid for. If not, we will resize it to the size that you have paid.

11. How long does it take to upload an ad/image/logo?
After the clearance of payments, please allow us 24-48 hours for the ad/image/logo to be approved and uploaded.

12. What are the payment options available?
We have divided the payment options in two categories, namely "Online Payment" and "Offline Payment".
Online Payment:
- Direct online bank transfer (ICICI Bank) - More details can be found on the order page.
- Pay Pal - A free and an easy way to pay online using a credit/ debit card (especially for NRI advertisers).
Offline Payment: Demand Draft/Cheques (In order to prevent fraud activities, your ad will be activated only after clearance of the payment).

13. Can I pay partially/ in installments?
We're sorry! We do not offer payment in installments. Your ad/image/logo/text will be activated only on clearance of "full" payment.

14. Is there a refund or money back policy available?
We at CrorePage India, take utmost care to ensure that the proposed buyer interest will be secured, once a purchase is made. However we do not offer refunds for any purchases made or payments received. Also, if the buyer opts to stop showing his/her ad on our website and wish to have it pulled off, then that space becomes free and available for another prospective client to purchase.

15. Can I modify or change my ad/image/logo/text or its placement?
No! Once you decide the placement of your pixels at the time of purchase (depending on which ones are available), they will not be changed. Also, the content/appearance of the ad/image/logo/text cannot be changed. However, in exceptional cases (like change of your website address or domain, etc.) we will consider making the necessary modification and update for you.

16. What about copy-cats and precautions regarding other people cloning your website?
This is bound to happen and we are not worried about it. This is internet after all, and we think that it will work in our favor. It is said that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". So we believe that any copy-cat websites will only have pure comedy value, and nothing else. So we wish good luck to the imitators! In many ways, the act of copying is the basis of all creativity. But really bad rip-offs and blind copy are seriously lame. Furthermore, we are investing money in advertising our website on radio, TV channels, newspapers, etc. so that it helps our advertisers in return - something that copy-cats won't opt to do easily!

17. Do you have any affiliate programs available?
No! We currently do not have any affiliate programs available. We are concentrating more on our various advertising campaigns - however, we definitely plan to introduce one soon. So keep watching!

Once we reach half way of our advertising pixel space, we will update this banner which will show a count of the number of pixels remaining, till it finally sells out completely!
